The Nanticoke River swim and triathlon is an open water three mile swim and a sprint triathlon held at the Cedar Hill Marina in Bivalve Maryland. Bivalve is on the Scenic Nanticoke River, minutes from Salisbury Maryland and 2-1/2 to 3 hours from Washington, D.C., Baltimore, Philadelphia, and Norfolk. Cedar Hill Marina is a Department of Natural Resources Certified Clean Marina. The Maryland DNR provides information about Cedar Hill Marina and their designation. What a great way to train for the Chesapeake Bay Swim or to start the Triathlon season!
We are a member of the Eastern Shore Tri Series. If you would like to sign up for the entire series, follow this link! If you register for the series you are automatically entered in all three events an you receive a special reduced entry fee!

We are proud to announce the sustainable initiatives the the Nanticoke River Swim and Tri:
- Reduce
- We encourage everyone, athletes and spectators, to car pool
- Our water conversation efforts will save over 2400 gallons of fresh water
- Only hybrid vehicles are used for land course support
- Reuse
- All leftover food will be composted by a local Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) farm
- All cups, utensils and plates are made from compostable materials
- Recycle
- Convenient receptacles will be provided for recycling all paper, plastic, cardboard, and aluminum
- All event support equipment is shared among several local race events
